Built: c. 1915
Case: Brass and beveled glass
This is
an unusual and ornate crystal regulator. Columns flank the main
section and there are elaborate embossed panels top and bottom.
Note the beautiful visible escapement dial and unusual hands.
(Click
here for a close-up of the dial) Not visible in the photo
are the ruby pins in the escapement pallet.

A nice

use faux mercury inserts instead of dangerous real mercury.

Maker: Ansonia
Clock Co., New York, NY
Built: 1910's
Case: Brass, Green Onyx and beveled glass
I just
love green onyx, so I couldn't resist this clock when I saw
it at a NAWCC National Convention. This clock should have cast
brass feet, but they've been taken off some time in its past.
It's still beautiful.
